Wow Pastor Alan, wow you always mused me, this is very very powerful question about the track we leave behind. And I love John one of my favorite book.
Truly this entire read, makes me smile...To love with understanding, and without understanding. While we can't who choose to follow our trail and we have to go watch our own steps...nor who will remember that there is a track nor do I remember myself 😁
The Spirit of Understanding one of the gifts is very essential. So recently I faced two situations in one the Lord said pray and it came with a consequence to me. In the other He said just let your light shine for it's My Glory. Pastor, I was stunned in the clear response of the Holy Spirit which bring to remembrance immediately this Truth. So in my quiet I ask why Abba the difference, He said one was for love the other for His Glory. So I been nursing🥰🥰 this thought.
Now here you came to shed light further and that is how we can develop our understanding.. Obedience .....It's hard very hard at times, but a friend remind me this week just trust and obey. Blessings to you Pastor Alan as your journey on with your ministry. Much love 💕
We get more if we say "yes". The people I support teach me this all the time. It is often the ones who are not verbal and more physically vulnerable, because of not being verbal. With me and family, Sacha says "no", gives attitude and has opinions of how something is. With his day program, he says "yes" to everything! It used to drive me nuts, thinking they weren't paying attention to his head shake for no. What I realized is he gets favorable attention if he says "yes", which is what he wants. If people aren't talking, or he's not involved, he's bored.
It makes me say yes more. Embrace things with faith. And, see peoples good intentions, even if it's not exactly mine.
